Find the right reference material by alloy according DIN EN 573-3 an DIN EN 1706

The Excel spreadsheet below shall help you to find the right reference material.

This tool is in a beta version. Please help us to improve this tools and send us your feedback to refmat@suisse-tp.ch (positive as well as negative)

If you need a reference material for an alloy according to EN AW-6061 (same as AA-6061) choose this standard from the dropdown list at the top of the Excel Spreadsheet.
If you found a refmat that might fit your needs enter the ART_NRA (from column A) into the searchfield in the left Menu (of the website) to see all details about the product. (As Excel removes hyperlinks when sorting)

More details on how to use this spreadsheet can be found on the second tab of the spreadsheet. Scroll (the website) down to the bottom and choose "How to use this spreadsheet"

if the spreadsheet doesn't load please click here to open it. (no Login required)

The EUROPEAN STANDARD EN 573-3

Aluminium and aluminium alloys - Chemical composition and
form of wrought products - Part 3: Chemical composition and
form of products

is the base for the most common wrought alluminium alloys used in many different sectors. This European Standard for reference materials nearly match other standards eg. from the AA. So EN AW 1070 has the same composition then the AA1070. So you might check for the same number and check if the values defined in the standards are the same as shown at the top of this spreadsheet.

The EUROPEAN STANDARD EN 1706

Aluminium and aluminium alloys – Castings
Chemical composition and mechanical properties

is the base for the most common cast alluminium alloys used in many different sectors. This European Standard for reference materials nearly match other standards eg. from the AA. So you might check for the same number and check if the values defined in the standards are the same as shown at the top of this spreadsheet.
